John Galarza John is the store manager of the Zumiez in Albany. He is originally from Medford, OR when asked what brought him to LB and the area he responded "I've worked for the company for 4 years now and I was offered to run this store. The first year I wasn't going to school, and that made me realize I didn't want to work in retail for the rest of my life. My main goal is to be at OSU in the apparel design program. I've always had a love for fashion and clothing so LB is just kind of like a stepping stone for me. Just getting all those prerequisites out of the way at a lower cost so I can jump straight into my degree is nice.

RPG club

Advisor of the RPG club sets up a game of D and D for this group. " It is just good fun," says Rob Griffin. "Everyone is welcome to drop by, we play every Friday at 2pm in the IA. If you like RPG video games, movies like Lord of the Rings, or Game of Thrones you will probably like it"  "I think that most people would like it and have fun, there is just a stigma around the whole tabletop RPG game community where it is just for nerds, but it is really for everyone."

Week 2

The photographer I chose is Joseph Sherman, a life long basketball fan Sherman grew up when the NBA was rapidly changing. Instead of growing up with idols like MJ, Bird, Iverson, or Shaq his idol was Lebron James. Growing up in a rapidly changing culture like most kids in the 2000's music influenced a-lot of his work, constantly referencing Kanye on his social media feeds. His photos stand out most to me because basketball is a chaotic sport, but his photo just seem so calm. His big break came last year, after shooting multiple phots for SLAM magazine he was invited to shoot the NBA finals arguably one of the biggest sporting events in the world, that included at the time the two biggest stars of the the NBA Lebron James, and Kevin Durant.

Week 1 Post

This is my last term here at LB before taking classes full time at OSU, I am majoring in Graphic Design. I took this class because I was going to take it fall term, but it didn't fit in to my schedule. Three goals I have in mind are learning to take better photos, earning an A, and learning to interview people easily. The next pictures I have in mind is shooting a Men's basketball open gym, and seeing what the future has for the program. Interviewing a Horticulture professor

Amy McConell "Linn-Benton provides me help to continue my education at Oregon State. It is the stepping stone to completing the degree that I want and provides a positive out look to completing the credits I want and earning the career I want." Quinn Bohlen "Right now I want to be a music producer, in 5 years I would hope to be in the industry either making my own music, helping to produce others work, or even engineering others work. I would love to go and major in sound production at some point, thats why I think LB is so helpful because I can just take all my gen ed's without taking out loans." Alice  "My morning started off pretty good I didn't have to take Highway 20 this morning. I'm really looking forward to my Botany lab today, I'm not a botanist but it's nice to hangout in the green house. My major is actually anthropology I took the intro to anthropology class here and I fell in love with it,
